No, chapter 31 is the last chapter apparently. At least that is what it says on MyAnimeList.
ch 28 is the last chapter in volume 5, it is complete

The anime ending was abit better as it clearly showed both of them having strong feelings for each other.

Since most manga adaptions are mainly to help sell novels this became redundant once the light novels ended, plus they would sell more novels to people who wanted to know how it ended. Hopefully someone gets around to doing the light novels on Baka-Tsuki, but I'm not that hopeful. Oh well, was fun while it lasted.
According to the always wise Wikipedia the light novels have already ended and as for how the story ended, I would like to know that too and I hope someone could tell me how it ended.
to a certain degree i get what your saying, but i value a good story that can be told differently for each medium it comes in, i dont like seeing an anime that is a complete match to the manga or novel as it ruins the plot for me and doesnt work to fill me in more about each characters disposition.
that said only if they do it well and correctly. i remember only seeing the first 2 episodes of this anime and not sure whether i would watch it myself. if the novel continues on or is longer and more detailed or slightly different i would love to have a read of that sometime too.
the manga end is a let down for me as it makes lisara look incapable of finishing what she set out to do, then it makes her look stupid and petty with the flashback to what started her feud with iria. ontop of that we get the cliche girl falls for guy (kinda) even though he hasnt shown anything close to being worthy enough of someone of her standing, sure he treats girls nice but thats part of his perversion, its not like he went on a great journey to save her life. am i to assume there is no special person? is it really ryousuke and his ability to generate spiritual power from his perversion? what will happen next to lisara and kyuru (who are in different situations) and will they end up staying or going home? what... what i tell you lol
Obviously manga was cancelled due to low sales.
Don't forget it's still an adaptation and only light novel tells complete story.

*ducks the head rolling off the manga project* jesus! What a sudden axing! Seriously... how can something like this get the axe yet things like Naruto and Bleach which should have ended LONG LONG AGO continue on without end? Don't get me wrong I like both of those mangas but, GET A NEW STORY FFS!!!

Thanks for your work on this manga, it was fun while it lasted, I will miss this story and its characters. And damn this is one of the few things I hate of manga adaptations from light novels, the fact that there is a high chance that it will be cancelled and and we get some lame ending and even if it does not get cancelled it would take decades for a monthly manga to catch up with the original source, High School DxD and Index are good examples, the manga adaptations of those stories have been ongoing for a decent amount of time and none has reached even a half of the story of the light novels. Anyway sorry for the rant and thanks again, Good bye Caesar, you magnificent bastard, and good bye Mina my favourite girl
